Jacoby transfer after No trump bidding is most common approach when responder has 5+ cards of a major. But this transfer can take place even at 0 HCP, as there is no minimum requirement. The decision to reach a game is dependent on responder’s judgement in the subsequent round of bids.
Texas Transfer will be used instead of Jacoby Transfer when responder has a 6+ MAJOR suit and atleast 10+ HCP.

Texas transfer is game forcing.
Texas transfer conceptually is same as Jacoby transfer but it is designed to reach game immediately by opener in his second bid itself. The responder is able to game force in his first bid.
In Texas Transfer, responder bids level 4 of a suit strain one rank before the 6+ MAJOR. As in Diamonds for Hearts and Hearts for Spades. Opener should rebid level 4 of the intended major suit to complete transfer.
4!d-Responder’s Texas transfer bid. Opener is obligated to bid 4!h
4!h-Responder’s Texas transfer bid. Opener is obligated to bid 4!s
A draw back of this approach is that Slam Investigation cannot use control bids as we’re reaching game, directly. 3014 Roman Keycards is the only slam exploring gadget available when using Texas transfer.
